Tintype & Wet-Plate Collodion Portrait Pricing
Shot Shop Oakland offers handmade tintype portraits created using the historic wet-plate collodion photographic process. Each portrait is produced on a metal plate and is a one-of-a-kind photographic object.
All sessions take place in Oakland, California, unless otherwise arranged.
Portrait Session Pricing
½ Plate (4¼ × 5½) – $250
5 × 7 Plate – $300
Whole Plate (6½ × 8½) – $350
8 × 10 Plate – $450
Pricing listed is for individual (one-person) tintype portrait sessions.
What’s Included
One hand-crafted tintype made using wet-plate collodion photography
A low-resolution digital scan for online sharing
Studio time and full photographic process
High-resolution digital files are available for purchase.
Additional Pricing Details
Couples: +$50
Families or groups of three or more: Contact us for custom pricing
Additional plates during the same session: Starting at $100 per plate
Deposit: A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to book a session
Rescheduling: Minimum 48 hours’ notice required
